Timothy’s K Cups Discontinued

Today I have some sad news for all Timothy Keurig K Cups fans. An official report was recently released announcing that the Timothy K Cups will be discontinued from the Keurig’s line-up of gourmet coffee K Cups.
There has been much speculation in the past year about the issue of Timothy K Cups being discontinued on the market. And coffee drinkers, particularly those who love Timothy Keurig K Cups are hoping that the rumors are not true. But in a recent letter published by the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, it clearly states that the rumors are true and that it’s time to say goodbye to Timothy’s coffee cups. Here’s an excerpt from the GMCR’s letter dated August 15, 2011:

“Effective September 9, 2011 Timothy’s World Coffee K-Cup portion pack beverage varieties will no longer be available in the wholesale channel in the United States. This will enable us to offer you a more consistent supply of products that best meet customer demand under the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR), Specialty Coffee Business Unite (SCBU) family of brands.”
As clearly stated in the letter, wholesale marketing of the Timothy Keurig K Cups will no longer be available in the United States effective September 9, 2011. But this leaves customers the nagging question of whether the Timothy’s K Cups will still be sold in retail outlets and grocery stores. So there’s still some hope left for the true blue Timothy’s World K Cup fans who can’t imagine waking up in the morning without their favorite Timothy’s coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
As we further wait for this to unfold further, it would be advisable to get your hands on your favorite blends and flavors of Timothy’s. You still have time to stock up on your favorite Timothy’s K Cups so do it while supplies last!
